John, thanks for the visit and comments! I do like this shot also, such vibrant colors. I've been wondering about that Sigma 150mm, as well as their 50-150mm. Down in Corvallis eh? Cool to know other photographers nearby! Thanks again!

@Nacho: The Sigma 150mm is an incredibly sharp lens, and its having an f-stop of 2.8 is very nice.

Beautiful work here (and elsewhere on your site). Besides the lush colors I like your use of lines and patterns. This defiinitely is not a typical floral image.
