EYES WIDE SHUT from The library of my soul, United KingdomThis rocks, Jack. The vibrancy leaps from my screen and pulls me in for a journey of exploration. It really feels as though I am part of a vivid dream, traipsing through the dense foliage in a glorious fairy tale world. So beautiful how Mother nature reclaims what is hers. Superbly observed and presented, and the rolling fog really enhances the ambience. 11 Jan 2009 6:43am Steve Rice from Olympia, United StatesThis is nice. I like this better than with the LensBaby. You can feel the moisture in the air and the soft earth under your feet. 11 Jan 2009 6:54am @Steve Rice: I like it better too, Steve. But I'm going to still spend time with the LensBaby until I develop a modicum of proficiency. It's too soon to put it away. kerfendal from Paris, Francegorgeous pic, you feel deeply the nature, we are inside the pic 11 Jan 2009 7:21am mo.langel from Courtelary, SwitzerlandJ'aime bien cette ambiance jungle! Superbe image! 11 Jan 2009 9:31am Lydie et Roland from BESANCON, FranceWe can easily imagine a fairy coming there - from the foggy background.... 11 Jan 2009 10:25am Alivia from FranceOn s'attend à voir surgir des aliens..I'am afraid !! ces couleurs sont très particulières, et créent une atmosphère angoissante. 11 Jan 2009 11:05am @Marcah: It is a lush rain forested area. JJ from Jersey City, United StatesSuch lush green colors so beautiful there, I like both shots but I think i tend to prefer the lensbaby one 11 Jan 2009 4:27pm @JJ: What is there about the other photograph that you prefer? Laurie from New Jersey, United StatesThe greens are so intense. Nice atmosphere. 11 Jan 2009 4:58pm @Laurie: I applied a Velvia look to the image. Lots of people don't like this degree of intensity; others do. zOOm from Paris, FranceLike a primitive forest... so impressive... thta's very powerful this green everywhere... like your frame too. 11 Jan 2009 5:27pm Suzanne from Huntington Bch, United StatesZoom is regith about the primitive forest...a garden of Eden. This is really marvelous. 11 Jan 2009 6:13pm Toni from Eastern Washington, United StatesI agree with JJ. While this is a nice shot, I prefer the Lensbaby shot over this one. I think it is more interesting and the LB adds to that interest. With the LB shot you have a slightly sharp focus at the entrance to the bridge, which becomes blurred as you cross it taking you off into the unseen distance. With the sharp focus in the central part of the image making one want to diverge from the trail and take the path least taken. That's my take, anyway. 11 Jan 2009 6:44pm @Toni: Thanks, Toni; it's been fascinating seeing what people prefer. Francesc B. from région parisienne, FranceThe green are fantastic... We are in the primary era :)) 12 Jan 2009 2:44pm Mobius Faith from Akron, Ohio,, United StatesReally like this one. The fog and mist is wonderful. 12 Jan 2009 3:54pm Avinash from New Haven, United Statesthe 'mood' of the fog captured so well... this is a very ver nice image... 14 Jan 2009 12:57am |
