Are you nuts?? (says the girl previously from Alberta) LOL!! It is beautiful ... but I'm much more content with the moodiness of rain and fog. However, this is a most BEAUTIFUL image! The vibrant colours with the white of the snow is magnificent.

@dogilicious: I took several shots of this scene. This one showed the most low lying fog; that's what made it the keeper.

This is a great capture, Jack. Love the lower clouds and the layering. Our snow is gone, melted in a hurry and caused a little bit of flooding - nothing like what some areas had. I work for a farm that has fields right on the edge of town and we had the pumps on, pumping water into the irrigation canals to keep it from flooding the city streets.

lovely shot. I like the sense of the warm earth re-emerging from under the snow. with the low clouds this is somehow reminiscent of geothermal areas in Iceland.
