@bluechameleon: Oh yeah, it's real. Although I love them all, I think that Bryce is my favorite of the National Parks; going down below into the hoodoos is an extraordinary experience. Thanks for your kind words, Sharon.

@JJ: Every time I go, my breath is taken away. You need the early morning light to get those particular colors.

@Barbara: As I told JJ, you need the early morning light for those colors. You don't have a very big window for shooting. This was shot at a 210mm focal length.

this looks like a detail from a giant dessert - icecream and chocolate. I really like the echoes and contrast between the shapes and textures, and the light infusing it all.

I'll echo everyone's thoughts here -- this is such a surreal image! I wasn't sure what I was looking at on first glimpse. I can only imagine how gorgeous is was in person. OK, Bryce, Zion, Sedona... lots of places yet to visit...
