This is my favorite of the arches. Early morning shot. We were the only ones there.
REQUIEM
It came to me the other day:
Were I to die, no one would say,
"Oh, what a shame! So young, so full

That's funny. We did Pine Tree arch at sunrise too. Not the best angle for the actual sunrise, but the light was beautiful. I love your shot! I love the way you used the arch to frame the surroundings. Simply beautiful, yet again!

oh this is brilliant! excellent composition and i like the natural frame! you achieved superb light to bring out every single detail and texture and DOF and sharpness are very good as i look through the main arch towards the rocks further in the distance...

@Monique: Thank you. This is far and away my favorite arch in the park, and this shot taken in 2007 is my best capture. We were back with kids and granddaughter in March 2008; I took tons of photographs of Pine Tree Arch but none that I like as much as this one.
