I couldn't resist one more sunset shot. This was taken from right in front of the cabin where we stayed.

Who is going to believe that this is actually a shot taken by a camera? This looks like a fine painting done by spray paint. An absolute treat to the eyes, Jack. And on top of that you get superb framing.

@Stephanie: It was a holy moment, Stephanie. I felt as if I needed to take off my shoes. It seemed almost sacrilegious to photograph it. When I looked through the viewfinder, I was pulled through the lens and mystically merged with what was in front of me.

@Jen: Yep! But it didn't last long. These are those gorgeous colors you sometimes get about 30 minutes after the sun has gone below the horizon.

Vibrant colors, it gives a feeling of a painting. I like that the 2 trees starts above the horizon and allow the lines of the sea and foreground to cross all the picture.

what can one say - this is brilliant! the bands of colours over the sunset sky are beautiful and your composition, with tree and grass silhouettes creating a natural frame, is superb!
