Jen from St. George, United StatesNice photo! The morning mist is beautiful, and the lane looks inviting. And it looks like there might be interesting folk to meet along the way. :) 27 Feb 2009 5:19am Barbara from Florida, United StatesIf one needs to calm the heart or spirit this is the place to be. 27 Feb 2009 5:26am Barbara from Florida, United StatesSorry I addressed you as John. It may be Jack. 27 Feb 2009 5:27am @Barbara: Barbara, All my life I was John until I retired, and even then, I was John until I got into digital and decided to become Jack for my photography. When we moved to Corvallis last September, I became Jack in our new community. When people call me John, I tend to not even be aware of it. Furthermore, I really don't care! rem_la from Villiers, Francej'aime bien le petit bonhomme, ca donne de la vie à la scene ! 27 Feb 2009 5:52am @rem_la: The little guy is a surgical nurse on a break. (I am really glad to have gotten connected with your excellent work. All of the D3 owners that I know are pretty serious about photography. Interacting with you earlier about Point Lobos, I have bicycled the spectacular Big Sur area numerous times; it's always a high point of any jaunt down the West Coast. When I moved to the Bay Area in 1962, for years I headed to the Monterey Peninsula just to stand on the rocks and feel the salt spray. Most of my working life was spent in the Bay Area - Fremont, Cupertino, San Rafael.) Manel from Girona, SpainExellent Jack !!! this is a realy god shot. All of my time on aminus3 is spent looking at people's work, commenting on it, responding to some of the comments on my work (although not responding nearly as much as I would like) and interacting with what has become a core community for me. Ajay from Pune, IndiaThis is such a perfect composition that it's difficult to add any more words to it. I could wax philosophical about the metaphor of life being so grand, that we're just specs in the cosmos.... but I won't ;-) It's an image that moves me in many directions and I think it's outstanding! 28 Feb 2009 4:04pm @amy: Thank you, Amy. The nurse in scrubs definitely makes the shot. Denise from Perry, United StatesI love the fog here, and the scrub wearing individual adds so much, even though such a minute part of the photo. Hope he/she changes before the next "open heart". 1 Mar 2009 3:10am Jeff from Honolulu, United StatesThis is so moody and pleasing. I never get to take fog shots where I live. It's one of the few drawbacks of perpetual nice weather (I know, we all have our problems). You've made the most of this scene. 1 Mar 2009 5:55am akarui from Kagoshima, JapanI like this composition. The person seems small among those very tall trees. 1 Mar 2009 12:13pm Véronique from Francequelque peu mystérieux , surtout l'apparition du personnage . J'aime ce dégradé qui nous guide vers les brumes . 1 Mar 2009 4:36pm shallowregret from Kongsberg, Norwaygreat fog, that person adds a sense of mystery 3 Mar 2009 11:32pm marcel lemieux/star_cosmos_bleu from Bedford.Quebec, CanadaAn excellent capture and nicely composed...lovely atmosphere 7 Mar 2009 1:53am Johannes Huss from Munich, GermanyI love this shot, it gives me a nice weird feeling... 10 Mar 2009 8:48pm |
