Today begins eight shots from our overnight to the Coast March 10-11.
Jay Maisel's guest blog on Scott Kelby's site (see yesterday for the URL) was everything I had hoped for and then some.

@Barbara: Thanks, Barbara, but I have to say that no photograph can capture the full beauty of such a scene. The Oregon Coast is spectacular.

This is fabulous. The light assails us, the waves of white foam makes this light so transcendent. This place is wild and beautiful. This ocean is so fierce and indomitable. Your photo makes all those feelings, it's wonderful

This has a beautiful colorcast over all. I especially like the crash of the surf and the rugged looking shoreline. This would be a wonderful place to visit and go for a "down the shore" walk.
