New Flower for MePosted by john4jack (Corvallis, Oregon, United States) on 4 April 2009 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio. I had not before seen this flower that is in our new back yard, but my wife says that it is not uncommon. It has a marvelous fragrance. (Oh my, it's daphne; that's not new to me!!) There was a terrific New York Times Travel piece on photographer Edward Weston this March 29. http://travel.nytimes.com/2009/03/29/travel/29footsteps.html You also will want to check out the multimedia presentation narrated by Weston's grandson.
