These gorgeous little flowers are starting to pop in the shade all over the back country trails around Corvallis.

Squirrel Shot Follow-up. That actually was a designed squirrel feeder that he was getting into yesterday. The squirrels can lift the lid and get the food, but the birds cannot lift the lid.

Absolutely outstanding! The best, Jack. The colors are deep and rich. The background actually compliments the colors in the bloom. I like how the light picks up the flecks of gold under the one petal on the left.
With an image like this you could be in the AM3 Spotlight again.
We must do something about getting you more than 5 stars for this one. Excellent.

@willow: The first major wild flower that blooms is trillium. And then comes Fairy Slipper. When you see the first one, you think that you have died and gone to heaven.
