Feast of BluePosted by john4jack (Corvallis, Oregon, United States) on 8 May 2009 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio. The Photography Guild Invitational is now on exhibit. The five oldest fine arts photography groups in Oregon were invited to submit photographs to be juried for exhibit. Each group was allotted 40 photographs, and from the 200 photographs, 54 were selected for exhibit. Of the over 100 photographs that were submitted by my local group, two of mine made the cut of 40. And "Foggy Morning" made the final 54. Tonight at the artist's reception, "Foggy Morning"(Portfolio, Dec. 14,2008) won the People's Choice Award. I felt both honored and humbled.
