@Laurie: Thank you; it is a peaceful place early in the morning. At this time of year, there are huge crowds in the middle of the day, especially at the more famous falls.

@Don: There is another falls higher up called Fairy Falls that flows into Wahkeena Creek above the top that you see.

@xavier cardell: Thanks. No, the D700 works best at ISO200. You can't get this silky look (at least I can't) without a tripod.

@observing: Thanks. The f/22 created the DOF; plus, I focus about 1/3 of the way into the shot. Because I obsess about getting the foreground sharp, I sometimes mess up on the distance sharpness.
