dj.tigersprout from New York City, United Statesamazing landscape!! such lovely color!! what a view!!! by the way we share a similar theme today!!! ;) 22 May 2009 6:02am Richard_Irwin from Belper, United KingdomWell that is just incredible, the scene behind is like a painting, the scene reminds me of an old Hollywood musical set. 22 May 2009 6:05am MMC Photos from THE COLONY, United StatesI'm jealous, Scott Kelby! I really like the foreground, but the back is blown out. 22 May 2009 6:20am @MMC Photos: It's actually not blown out. But I have cropped the top down to the river. Toni from Eastern Washington, United StatesTotally jealous of your LR workshop with Scott Kelby! Lucky man, you! Great shot here, Jack. The flowers are beautiful and worth the early morning wake up. 22 May 2009 7:03am Sarito from Basingstoke, United Kingdomvibrant colours in the flowers in foreground. dont really like the background, blue tone doesn't match with the foreground, in my opinion :). 22 May 2009 7:33am @Sarito: I've gone back and cropped the top. Craig from Vacaville, California, United StatesA fine work with a surreal quality! 22 May 2009 8:59am Marie LC from Voiron, FranceJ'aime ce premier plan très chaud en opposition à l'arrière plan aux tons froids 22 May 2009 9:17am @Marie LC: FYI, I went back and cropped the top. Marie-Hélène Ammor from Casablanca/Paris, MoroccoBeautiful composition with colored flowers and landscape ! 22 May 2009 9:41am xavier cardell from menorca-barcelona, SpainNice contrast of colours. But what happenned to the top edge of the maountains? Is it done on purpouse? 22 May 2009 10:02am @Jean-François: I went back and cropped the top. Tracy from La Selva Beach, United StatesThe quality of the pre-sunrise light is wonderful! you have such a great saturation of the oranges! This is my favorite time of day; so full of promise! Love it! 22 May 2009 1:39pm Susan from Fort Lauderdale, FL, United StatesThis is wonderful.....color and comp well done...Jealous that you will be with scott kelby, just when I am SOOOOO in need of his tutelage..... 22 May 2009 3:00pm @Susan: If you have seen the version where the top goes down to the river, it is the cropped version. If you see sky and a bluecast ridge on the other side of the river, it is the original. DON from spokane, United StatesImpressive bed of blossoms. I like the contrast and vivid colors very much. Fine job of shooting. 22 May 2009 3:26pm Anthony Morgan Lambert from Bielefeld(old Pembroke Dock boy,Wales), GermanyOk,I´ve seen the original with the big blue background. Not sure if this is really my thing,it´s a bit to over saturated. The fore ground is very lush though !! 22 May 2009 3:58pm @Anthony Morgan Lambert: Anthony, it actually was not saturated; that was what the predawn light produced. marc battault from clermont ferrand, Franceit is a veritable bouquet of color! 22 May 2009 4:18pm Judy from Brooksville, Florida, United StatesA riot of colorful blooms .... gorgeous! 22 May 2009 4:49pm Steve Rice from Olympia, United StatesThe flowers look lie little suns. I'm also in awe of your ability to create images this beautiful!!! 23 May 2009 1:51am @willow: Thanks, Willow. I definitely got my money's worth. The morning (Library and Develop modules) was terrific. Unfortunately the afternoon got bogged down. The Print module was short-changed. When Kelby gets tired, he gets silly (you can see some of this in his books). He is unbelievable in the way he answers questions during breaks and for an extended time after the seminar is over. I got a couple of questions that have been bugging me about LR answered. Sandrine from Cincinnati, United StatesBeautiful colors and composition! I love the blue tones in the background.... Excellent Shot! 23 May 2009 1:54am B. Thomas from Arlington, Texas, United StatesI did not see the version early today, but I do like this one. 23 May 2009 2:14am Bill Jennings from (Bay Area Northern Calif), United StatesIt's a later view, and I like whatever you have as your last post : very tight, colorful, and amazingly sharp for what may have had limited light before sunrise.
