I just love this. I wish I had the strength to take away color from my garden images. I guess since my hands are in the dirt so many hours...when I finally see a bloom I just can't strip the color right out of it.
I do like the B&W. It makes the detail of the flower so much more graphic. Sometime over this summer I am going to try this.

I think the black and white in this shot has really made the rose stand out. The beauty of the flower looks so smooth here that one is tempted to touch it.
