Anthony Morgan Lambert from Bielefeld(old Pembroke Dock boy,Wales), GermanyShows off the details of the rose wonderfully, great mono shot !! 12 Jun 2009 10:15am Tammy-Cricket from United StatesI just love this. I wish I had the strength to take away color from my garden images. I guess since my hands are in the dirt so many hours...when I finally see a bloom I just can't strip the color right out of it. I do like the B&W. It makes the detail of the flower so much more graphic. Sometime over this summer I am going to try this. 13 Jun 2009 3:42am @Tammy-Cricket: When it comes to flowers, Tammy, I always do both; sometimes I even end up posting both on Am3. bluechameleon from Vancouver, CanadaLove this! The soft light grey-white of the rose is so delicate...a stunning composition! 13 Jun 2009 3:52am Ajay from Pune, IndiaI think the black and white in this shot has really made the rose stand out. The beauty of the flower looks so smooth here that one is tempted to touch it. 14 Jun 2009 3:56am Toni from Eastern Washington, United StatesJack - I'm starting a new feature called Sunday Spotlight and this is one of the images I'm splotlighting.
