SILLY TUESDAY - Welcome to Silly Tuesday. Two weeks ago, Beau had to have major reconstructive knee surgery (he tore it up while zipping around). You can see where they shaved his left rear, and if you look closely, you can see his knee stitches (they were taken out yesterday). It's a 3 month recovery process. So we borrowed Fiona's stroller for our walk. Beau's handling it much better than his dad is.

@Nicholas: Amazingly, he has not been in any pain. He actually wants to overdo, and we have to prevent him from that.

Wow! At first it looked a bit silly but this is serious surgery. Thank goodness Beau doesn't have to walk and appears to be very accepting to the stroller. Although after 3 months he may continue to enjoy being chauffered around like that.

@Barbara: Like I mentioned to Nicholas, the main problem is that Beau wants to overdo. He loves to jump up on the furniture, and that jumping is a no-no for now.

Poor sweety, may he heal quickly...Bet it hurts you more than it hurts beau, that's the way it is with pet-loving people, bravo Jack! and I'm sure Beau would be thrilled that he's the star of a silly Tuesday photo :)

A fine shot of recovering doggie! My friend is having his dog's back knee replaced tomorrow morning. It's hard for me to imagine how an owner can manage an animal with that handicap. I wishing and "Daisy" all the luck. Fine shot today.

Mostly I wish a very speedy recovery at Beau! The convenient stroller for walks, I used an approach when one of my pug was in end of life with cancer! Good day to you! et bon courage pour les soins de Beau! (I have followed with interest the recommended links on Iran! there is always quelque share of people who suffer!)

Ah, poor Beau! My dog had the same operation on both her knees and she recovered very well! Good luck for Beau and I like the photo with his shaved behind ;) ... don't let him see it, he'll be embarrassed!
