Ring Ray

I used my Ring Ray flash for this photograph. It provides a soft, even light. Without the flash, there were all sorts of shadows on the petals. This, as was the case yesterday, is another backyard shot.

LE TOUR - The Tour de France begins today. It is the one month of the year more than any other that I am envious of the people who live in France. For many years, my passion was road cycling; I was as obsessed with cycling as I am now with photography. Things get interesting in Spain on Friday.

Wow, Wow, and Wow! I love the colors! The ring ray did a wonderful job of evening out the lighting! It has a great sunny feeling, without harsh shadows!

@Tracy: Thanks. All you do is stick it on the front of a Nikon SB-800, that is attached to your camera, and fire away.
