Photography began for me in the early 50s. It became a passion when I began backpacking in the Sierra in the 60s. My digital journey began in 2005. The digital darkroom has opened up a whole new realm for creativity. My primary subject matter is the natural world, especially flowers and macro. In 2012, I began to press the envelope. I am doing lots of experimentation. Any about page would be incomplete without saying that photography for me is very spiritual and is integrally connected to my spiritual journey. When I photograph everything seems to dissolve together. I am in essence a Celtic nature mystic.
