Landscape Arch

Posted by john4jack (Corvallis, Oregon, United States) on 17 December 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

A family trip to the Southwest included a few days in Arches NP. Nik's Silver Efex enabled the conversion to B&W.

Amicalement.@+++

This is simply awesome. Perspective, conversion to mono, lighting are absolutely on the money, a five star shot. I'd love to be standing where you were amongst such devestating beauty

Beautiful dramatic tones...like an open portal, but I wonder if one can really pass through this way. Perhaps it's really all just an illusion.

Love the rich texture on this BW shot.
I like the way this photo makes you follow every single detail from the bottom of the frame the sky. It's as if you are ascending.
Beautiful shot :)
