This was shot early in the morning at Sunset Point.
Nikon D300 1/200 second F/11.0 ISO 200 210 mm (35mm equiv.)
I very much like the color contrasts and the diagonals ... good show.

I was't sure if it was real or not...but it is! What a beautiful photograph.

@bluechameleon: Oh yeah, it's real. Although I love them all, I think that Bryce is my favorite of the National Parks; going down below into the hoodoos is an extraordinary experience. Thanks for your kind words, Sharon.
WOW !! Like Sharon said. Wasn't sure if this was real. Excellent work

@JJ: Every time I go, my breath is taken away. You need the early morning light to get those particular colors.
Breathtaking view, incredible colors, an amazing place to experience and capture. I had to take a second look as it had me guestion at first if it was real.

@Barbara: As I told JJ, you need the early morning light for those colors. You don't have a very big window for shooting. This was shot at a 210mm focal length.
This is such a surreal atmosphere! The view is terrific. And such a great job on capturing these stunning cloros!

this looks like a detail from a giant dessert - icecream and chocolate. I really like the echoes and contrast between the shapes and textures, and the light infusing it all.
