Tree in Fog

Posted by
john4jack (Corvallis, Oregon, United States) on 10 March 2009 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio.

Foggy mornings are so peaceful.

Caveats. Yesterday I included one of my time to time statements regarding my photographic journey. As I always try to do, I included caveats. The caveats are very important. My statements are about my own personal journey and in no way reflect on another's journey. Diversity is integral to the fullness of our humanity.

Off to the Coast for an overnight. Back late tomorrow. We're looking forward to a minus tide.

I really like this one, Jack. Love the fog and the solitary tree.

11 Mar 2009 6:28am

akarui from Kagoshima, Japan

I prefer this picture (than the next one) because it is more simple. I find sometimes that taking branches of trees make a too complex photo unless finding some shapes in harmony. The space around the tree gives some rest to the eyes here. Beautiful contrast of the tree against the sky.

12 Mar 2009 12:37am

@akarui: In some ways, with this one, the photography matters most; in the other one, it is the tree itself that matters most.

amy from Nanaimo, BC, Canada
