Along Circle Trail

Posted by
john4jack (Corvallis, Oregon, United States) on 11 April 2009 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio.

This is some early bloom along the trail where we regularly walk.

Yesterday I mentioned the importance of practicing forgiveness. That, I believe, is integral not only to being religious but to being truly human.

"The question is not what you look at, but what you see." Thoreau

This is probably my favorite photograph that I have seen from this series - the tones and color are so inviting in this - at least to my eyes - incredible! Wow - simply magnificent composition, color, and focus point!!!!!!

Awesome blossoms! Love the exposure. But, I'm afraid that practicing greed, hatred, and destruction are much more human than practicing forgiveness. In my experience, practicing forgiveness is a quality rarely found in religious circles. I'm not sure how you can say a thing like that when we live in a world who's major religions are at war. I know you'll never get a politician to speak those words, but, that is reality.
