Dog Park (oops! #5)

Posted by
john4jack (Corvallis, Oregon, United States) on 27 July 2009 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

Yesterday was to be the last Dog Park shot. Today's is what I call a reference shot; it's to provide some information. When I took this shot, I already had lots of shots that were much better photographically and they did convey some of the information I wanted. However, they did not have the lady and the dogs; if you look closely, you can see two dogs. Actually there are lots of dogs in the park every day. The path on the left is the one in yesterday's post. The wonderful trees on the right go all the way to the bottom of the park. I also wanted you to see that even in the Pacific Northwest, we do have some extraordinary blue sky. I'm tempted to post tomorrow one of the better photographs that I took today, but I have too much of a backlog.

SILLY TUESDAY is tomorrow. Look forward to your contributions.

That is a nice blue sky Jack! Hang on to this for winter time - just so you can view it for reference! Great shot and this looks like an awesome dog park!

@Scott Schilling: Thanks, Scott; if the lady and the dogs hadn't shown up, I would have had a better shot showing much more of the extraordinary trees and the two path.

Fresh and wild, unlike any dog park I've ever visited. Sorry to see this series come to an end.

Wonderful series. Nice sky in this one, although I liked the mood of the other shots with the overcast. We have a huge dog park and need to remember to use it more often.

What a gorgeous dog park. Such a great photo! And you know...even if you don't always have blue skies in the Pacific Northwest, your topography is absolutely gorgeous there. It's so lush. Try living in IL where the land is flat and we get almost as many gray days as you! :)
