St. Francis

Posted by
john4jack (Corvallis, Oregon, United States) on 5 August 2009 in Art & Design and Portfolio.

We have this wonderful statue of St. Francis in our back yard. (I got it for Ellie for Mother's Day many years ago.) Recently I saw this incredible evening light falling on it. My original intention was to present it in monochrome. However, the warm quality of the light seemed to call for color.

The following quote seems to speak eloquently to the people of Iran.

"We suffer from an incurable malady: hope."
