Lily Close-up

Posted by

Almost every day, I see more why people are so enamored with the Nikon 105mm, f/2.8 lens.

Dulcie deserves credit. My Tuesday "Sprinklers" shot was inspired by Dulcie's post on July 27.

bluechameleon from Vancouver, Canada

Such incredible macro and frame. I just love this detail.
Beautifull!!

6 Aug 2009 8:09pm

@bluechameleon: Thanks, Sharon. The main thing that I need to internalize when it comes to macro shots is that I can no longer take them handheld; almost every handheld shot ends up in the trash. Could being almost 74 have something to do with that??

Judy from Brooksville, Florida, United States

The lens may be wonderful, but not without the eye of the photographer!
A super shot, Jack!

Scott Schilling from San Martin, United States

That is fantastic Jack! Awesome color and the focus is great on this one! I like how the center and petals are in focus in an area and then it fades away towards the top to bring my eyes back to the center area. Great Work on this!

@Scott Schilling: Thanks, Scott.
