Forest Trail

Posted by john4jack (Corvallis, Oregon, United States) on 13 August 2009 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

For the next few days, I will post shots from a walk to the Old Growth Forest. The first photograph was taken of a side trail before we got to the old growth trail.

Barbara from Florida, United States

You have discovered and captured my place beautifully.
There is a place in the woods in the upper part of Michigan where I visited often and then didn't go for 20 years. I always remembered that scene which could very well be your image here.
I returned to the spot 2 years ago and captured every panoramic inch of the trees and path so I could relive it onscreen.
It is the beauty of the light that falls through the tall trees and illuminates the green and light the path to make your journey.

16 Aug 2009 4:39am

@Barbara: Thank you. As my memory goes, photographs are a big help.
