The fecundity of the Old Growth Forest is amazing.
************************************************************

COAST TRIP - I ended up with about 1600 files. Have gotten through an initial edit of 1.5 days and dumped around 400. Lots of work still to do.

NIKON D700 1/100 second F/6.3 ISO 400 32 mm (35mm equiv.)

Dulcie from Danville, CA, United States

Looks like it would take a machete to get through this growth and through your 1600 files as well! Good luck and good work.... and at the same time, I know you will ENJOY! I look forward to seeing some of the ones that make the cut. :-)

@Dulcie: Right on all counts. The Coast show begins on Wednesday.

Nice light again through the leaves, everything seems so intricate, like a primitive forest. Did you meet Mr T. Rex by the way ? ;-)

@zOOm: I see you know some of the inhabitants of our forest!!

A very prolific area and good greens with the almost-silhouetted mossy tree trunks.

See, this is what i love about am3...not only do i see wonderful images, but I often learn new things...like the meaning of fecundity!!! that's the second cool word I've learned here, the first being, crespuscular!!! Beautiful shot John, and i envy you the work you're doing on the coast trip shots....wish i had a bunch to work with right now....gotta wait for cooler weather....

A fine shot to convey the density of the forest and how nature completely has its way in the over growth. Fine image.
