Pond Reflections

Posted by
john4jack (Corvallis, Oregon, United States) on 17 August 2009 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

After we came up out of the Old Growth Forest, we passed this pond that had some neat reflections.

YESTERDAY'S B&W - Gary Hart did a minor crop and some editing of the lower left of yesterday's post, and then I did some further editing. The busyness of the limbs in the lower left have been removed. It makes for a stronger photograph. The edited version now has replaced the original.

SILLY TUESDAY is tomorrow.

NEW COAST SERIES - On Wednesday, I begin posting shots from our Photo Guild's 4 day trip the Coast.

Beautifully reflected tones here, Jack. I checked out yesterday's image. Don't have the old one to compare it with, but this one does look stronger, cleaner, perhaps more defined. It is lovely!

Everything takes on a special sort of magic when it's reflected, maybe it's a hint that we should reflect the Light too ;)

@Lorraine: Thanks. I agree with your theology.

Beautiful reflection and color that you have captured here. It's hard to see where the reflection is, which I like; almost takes on a circular formation as if we are looking at the rings of a log.
