This last photograph of the Coastal Trip was taken by my photographer buddy, Phil. Seemed appropriate for Silly Tuesday.
Why silly!?? This is an awesome shot of you! (I assume it's you!) ;) Love the fog.... What a gorgeous place for taking photographs

@Magda: It is indeed me. It was a gorgeous place. My photographs posted on August 26 & 27 were taken from right below here.

@Sof: Merci. It was indeed a terrific place from which to photograph.
Hello Jack! How are you ? Good shot !
8 Sep 2009 5:23am
@Irene: Doing well, thank you. The credit for the shot all goes to my buddy, Phil.
Very nice atmosphere...
8 Sep 2009 5:25am
Not Silly...an envious shot, and you had an envious job taking beautiful photos in that mystical atmosphere! Your coastal trip produced a fine body of work.
I so enjoyed all the photos we've seen so far...hope there are more!
See my Silly Tuesday post,[url= http://dailytakes.aminus3.com/image/2009-09-08.html]HERE!

@Dulcie: Thanks, Dulcie. If I get in a bind, I might post more from this trip. Right now, I have a backlog of other stuff.
I went back to those photographs.... Wow! I would never expect to see such amazing view on the other side!!!
8 Sep 2009 5:38am
@Magda: Let me be clearer. Go back to the August 26 shot. If you take those steps to the top of the bluff in the upper right of the shot, that's where I was at the time Phil took today's shot of me. The August 26 & 27 photographs were taken from down on the beach.
hehehe great work Phil nice to see you Jack

8 Sep 2009 8:53am
Good photo realy not silly. Maybe it'll be interesting to see tomorrow the photograph he was taken.
8 Sep 2009 9:28am
@Manel: Actually this series from our photo guild's trip to the Coast has now come to an end. If you want to see a couple of shots from when I dropped off of the bluff and went down to the beach, go to August 26&27.
Hi Jack :)
Great shot. I love the fog.
8 Sep 2009 9:50am
The man in action!
8 Sep 2009 9:56am

Cazador cazado, con la nieblina le da un toque interesante
8 Sep 2009 11:14am
Concentration in the fog. And a nice place to photograph.
8 Sep 2009 11:17am
Great and foggy shot of you, Jack. It seems so funny to see you in such warm clothes, when shorts and sandals are still the 'uniform of the day' down here!
8 Sep 2009 11:29am
Great foggy day... and it was good of your buddy to take a pict of you....
8 Sep 2009 11:38am
I wonder what he's shooting. Very nice scene, I like the haze.
8 Sep 2009 12:57pm
I've enjoyed your images Jack, and now I get to see you "at work!"
8 Sep 2009 1:52pm
Nice to see you Jack even in this fog :)) You look very concentrated, while your friend took a pic of you :))
8 Sep 2009 2:29pm
nice! early mornings are great! Here is my ST
8 Sep 2009 2:32pm
hard at work! nice picture, but who's the photographer?
8 Sep 2009 2:37pm
@Yvonne Simons: The person in the photograph is me. The person who took the photograph is a friend.
That fog is a marvelous condition under which to take coastal picture. Nice to see you and your set up for taking pictures.
8 Sep 2009 3:00pm
Jack this is gorgeous, it must have really inspired you, beautiful
8 Sep 2009 3:13pm
8 Sep 2009 3:25pm
A nice shot; don't know about silly, but shows you very much focused on your work.
8 Sep 2009 3:49pm
The photographer in action in the mist! beautiful portrait! Even if it seems fun! And the pleasure of seeing you
8 Sep 2009 4:04pm
@Mathilde Collot: Merci, Mathilde.
Photographer at work. Good photo...
8 Sep 2009 4:15pm
The master at work!
8 Sep 2009 5:03pm
Hi Jack, ravie de te connaitre de visu
8 Sep 2009 5:04pm
@Marie LC: Merci.
hello hello!! :) great to 'meet' you -- and in action too!
8 Sep 2009 5:47pm
Le photographe dans la brume! superbe composition!
8 Sep 2009 5:52pm
Superbe ce paysage brumeux
8 Sep 2009 6:25pm
What a beautiful scene and that's what I would call seriously involved in photography with that tripod.
8 Sep 2009 6:34pm
@Ajay: I didn't get any decent shots from up there, but when I dropped down onto the beach, I got an overload of fine photograph. To see the bluff, go to my August 26 post; it was at the top of the stairs.
8 Sep 2009 6:44pm
@Steve Rice: Thanks; in more ways than one.
hi jack! the artist is at his post! passion is!
8 Sep 2009 6:57pm
@marc battault: At his passion indeed!
nice, hope you got your shot. And remember it is okay to smile :)
8 Sep 2009 7:31pm
@shallowregret: Nothing from the top of the bluff while the fog was still in, where I was in this photograph, turned out very well. I got some nice foggy shots down on the beach (August 26 & 27). About smiling, I didn't have a clue that Phil was taking this photograph.
Not silly at all, I love to see (even in the mist :) who we all are - nice to meet you dear Jack !
Great figure and cool cap :-)
8 Sep 2009 8:41pm
@k@: Merci. The logo on the cap is "Livestrong" from Lance Armstrong's cancer program. I wore the yellow bracelet for a number of years (my how time flies).
Ah, Jack, nice to see one of you in here. Great idea as it is silly to see YOU on your own photoblog.
8 Sep 2009 8:57pm
@LauraS: It's definitely not a self-portrait. I had no idea that Phil was taking it.
A photographer who maintains his camera and tripod BEHIND the fence line??!! I've never seen that happen before. ;-) The fog works well here, softening the background while leaving the foreground fully exposed. Love the disappearing fence line.
8 Sep 2009 9:15pm
@Steven: All the credit goes to Phil.
Nothing silly about it!!! it's a wonderful shot, and that fog is just luscious!!! Kudos to Phil for catching you at work!!!
8 Sep 2009 10:00pm
That old guy needs a shorter camera : ] best...jerry
8 Sep 2009 11:48pm
@ordinaryimages: Your age detector is pretty good!!
A nice portrait of the photographer with a surrounding moody fog.
8 Sep 2009 11:58pm
@akarui: Thank you.
Jack a very nice photograph and although there is fog - you look like you are sharp and the most important thing is you have a fantastic tripod and a great camera!
9 Sep 2009 1:53am
Great to see you in action Jack, thanks to your buddy Phil! I like the fog surrounding you and I'm glad there's a fence preventing you from falling down in your enthusiasm to take a photo!
9 Sep 2009 2:35am
Beautiful shot! What a scene!
9 Sep 2009 3:45am
@bluechameleon: For Phil, I thank you. It is a gorgeous spot.
The celebrity himself! An image you'll charish since most time is spent behind the camera. Thanks to Phil for giving us this view. I love the foggy atmosphere.
9 Sep 2009 5:19am
@Barbara: I'm with you on the fog. No matter what the weather is at the Coast, good photographers are there for the taking.
Excellent ! You're very concentrated ! :-)
9 Sep 2009 5:14pm
@Isabelle: And that's what made it silly for Silly Tuesday.
Great shot! Nice to see you in action!
10 Sep 2009 2:05am
The lonesome photographer all alone with his tripod :-)
10 Sep 2009 1:07pm
@Anthony Morgan Lambert: Alone, yes, but too enchanted to be lonesome!
The man at work...what a great shot and some fine surroundings..nice fog too...
