Patterns in the Sand

MANY THANKS to everyone who commented on my post yesterday. If I didn't respond or didn't comment on yours, it was because we were out for 8.5 hrs. capturing fall colors in the Cascades.

NIKON D700 1/100 second F/8.0 ISO 200 85 mm (35mm equiv.)

It looks like a pleated satin. A satin would have taken the shades of the sunset to become the gold is very conceptual and artistic, super picture Jack.
