This photograph was taken on a rainy October21 coming back from taking Beau to get a regular shot. It makes clear once again that any weather is great for taking photographs.

1 Dec 2009 1:30pm

Alivia from Saint-Etienne, France

The colors are mixed, the raw green of the grass, trees bathed in dark mist. The brown color of trees in the foreground bring a touch of the wild landscape, the white line of the barrier cuts the space into the landscape and saw the hand of the photographer! Bravo Jack, we can only love the fall with you.

1 Dec 2009 1:52pm

@Alivia: Merci, dear Dane. You are too kind.

bluechameleon from Vancouver, Canada

One thing about the rain, it brings out the colours so nicely, so saturated (no pun intended) and perfect. I love this beautiful landscape, Jack!

1 Dec 2009 1:53pm

@bluechameleon: Thanks, Sharon. Can't tell you how many times I have passed this scene. But only the rain and fog made me stop.

1 Dec 2009 2:29pm

@Tracy: Thanks, Tracy.

Self-Indulgence from Chicago, United States

The way the fog enhances the layering of the trees in the background is really remarkable and as chameleon said, the moisture in the air has brought out color which under this lighting would normally be drab so you got a really good shot.

1 Dec 2009 2:30pm

@Self-Indulgence: You're right.

mo.langel from Switzerland

1 Dec 2009 5:30pm
