@Gary Hart: Thanks, Gary. A sense of intimacy is magnetic for me. The Nikon 14-24mm lens has received rave reviews. However, I wonder if such a purchase would make sense with the kind of photography to which I am attracted. The Nikon 24-70mm is my major workhorse, a truly fabulous lens. This shot was taken with a Nikon 70-300mm lens, which is a consumer lens but has been very well received.
