Interruption

Posted by john4jack (Corvallis, Oregon, United States) on 28 April 2010 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

Our trip is so incredible that I am changing all of the photographs for the next few days. It was pouring rain with gale force winds when we got to Bandon, OR. This shot was taken right in front of our motel room. The distant rock on the left is called Face Rock. (Caveat: processing on a lap top does not always result in accurate colors.)

A beautiful soft foreground then quite rough it's an amazing but very beautiful landscape ! Great composition ! (I think that the horizon tilts little but with this sea it is not surprising !)

@Mhelene: Thank you. I fixed the horizon; glad that you picked up on it.

Ah, the beauty of the Pacific NW. The foggy ocean is perfect.
Good title to describe all the protruding rocks.
And then the plants and stairs warm it all up.

A trip to the sea is always a dream! A sublime landscape and mysterious Jack! A remote and wild place!
Only man-shaped wooden walkways that lead us to the beach remind us that this is an area already discovered! An incredible beauty ... thanks for teaching here friend! Muchos besos, Adela

@LauraS: I don't know. Light does strange (and wonderful) things.
