A beautiful beach...interesting that people always desire to write their names in the sand.
And you have caught it or posterity !! ;-)

23 May 2010 7:06am

@Dulcie: I purposefully left in the names in the sand; it helped to humanize the photo. My copyright almost looks like it's written in the sand :))

Fonts from Barcelona, Spain

Powerful diagonals that cut the space of fototrafia with great dynamism and beauty. A wild image that speaks of a calm sea after a storm. Despite his loneliness someone had the audacity to penetrate their privacy and writing messages in the sand. Messages erase moments after angry sea! A beautiful image, another work of art friend Jack! Muchas gracias por este placer y muchos besos. Adela

That's a long way down. There is lots of driftwood lying around - there must have been a big storm recently to drop it all there. Great POV.

@Susan: No; we got home May 5. We were two days in Bandon; two days in Mendocino; two days in Nicasio (and you would know where that it); two days in Fremont; and two days on the road home.

A nice perspective over the cliff top as the wonderful tidal surf peppers the sandy shorelines. Those people down there have a ringside seat in the driftwood. Great shot, Jack.
