Wow. This one is just stunning and perfect. The composition of the falls here is wonderful with the logs and all that wonderful green.

It's so beautiful, I love the capture of the water falls.

Great shot of water power. Nice crop as well. I would have preferred a more subdued green but that is just my preference.

@Philip: I would have had to to de-saturate the greens to get them more subdued. The vegetation this year is incredibly vibrant.
lovely fresh feel to this

Superb sequence of images Jack. Sometimes things are so busy I simply do not have time to see everyone's work on Aminus3. Glad I took some time this morning. Your HDR sunrise image was also so beautiful - worth the early rise.

@Don Smith: Thanks, Don. I think that the best waterfalls shots will be in the Silver Falls State Park section that is coming up in a few days.
A fine composition of the waterfall's bottom with the lush greenery around. You've right about the "greens" being extra vibrant this year. It can look unreal, but that's just the way it is. Very nice shot.

Would love to be able to hear the force of these falls, but what a fantastic shot, the amazing force of the falls surrounded with the beautiful greens

they named the falls quite appropriately. A lovely capture of the splash at the bottom too.

beautiful shot....looks like a LOT of water!!!

@Susan: There was an amazing amount of water in the falls for early summer. In Silver Falls SP, which is coming up, all of the winter falls were running full blast.
With this taken at 1/8 of a second, that's a lot of water every minute, flowing with great force. I'm enjoying this series, Jack.
