This was taken on the walk to pick up Fiona from pre-school. They have been in great abundance in our neighborhood.

POSTING EVERY DAY - I do it for a number of reasons. First, and primarily, I think that it is a good discipline. It is an assist against laziness. Then, I think that posting every day keeps us more in touch with each other. I have come to value the people more than the photography on Am3. And I think that exposing our less than optimal work provides an opportunity for learning from the comments of others who see where we can grow. What I do know is that I have at most 10 photographs a year that are worthy of going on either my walls or an exhibit wall. In part, belonging to Am3, has significantly improved what I would include in those 10. It's interesting how what I thought was so fine even a year ago wouldn't begin to make my top 10 now. The major growth has been in my artistic sensitivity. And how I respond to the photographs of others is very similar to how I respond to my own. What constitutes quality photography has changed. It's not that I feel more judgmental; just the opposite. However, the photographs that touch me deeply certainly are different, and that is true both for my own and those of others.
@Dulcie: I really appreciate duChemin's work. Furthermore, I think that some of his photographs are much better than others.
