This concludes the dance shots.

WHY DO I BELONG TO AM3? There are two primary reasons. The first reason is that I get to see a lot of incredible photographs. But I must also say that the photographs on Am3 are a mix. Some are extraordinary; they take our breath away. Far more, let's face it, are mediocre. And even superb photographers post photographs that are less than their best. The second primary reason that I belong to Am3 is that I get to share my photographs with a ton of people. I really don't care a great deal about comments; that is unless the comments either give me insights into my photographs or enable me to become a better photographer. But I do appreciate people looking at my photographs. Sharing my passion is immensely important. On Am3, I personally would like to spend less time commenting and responding and devoting that time to exploring the photographs of those that are not on my blogwatch. In closing, it is important to say that the relationships that I have established with many of you is a very special added bonus.

A twirl as an end to make us dance with her, i love the sunny tone and fire sensation. A very cute serie with your dear cutie, Jack, thanks for sharing the different lights (and lighting/colouring).
As for your note about why you are on Am3, i do agree entirely (and discover new ones each day). I guess we are lucky to share our images (good & less good) with so many different people, i met a lot of them, around 30 for almost 2 years now, and this is also a present since you have one passion in common but each of us comes from so different places (not only countries but jobs, general interest, culture, and so on) we just meet the world and how we all see this world. Let's enjoy it again & again - peacefully* Have a great week-end, Jack.

A wonderful action shot. I like the motion and the tones are beautiful. I like your reasons for belonging to Am3. In my oppinion your photos are under the extraordinary category - they sometimes (most of the time) take my breath away.

I like the way you captured Fiona's hair and skirt flaring out as she twirls her little body.

Susan from Pompano Beach, by Fort Lauderdale, FL, United States

It's been a fun series....and i think this may be my fave.....that sense of abandoned movement does it for me!!! And to put my 2 cents worth in......I find lately, that although the primary reason for being out here is the photography.......the friendships found here are a mighty important aspect of it also !!!!

4 Sep 2010 9:06pm

@Susan: I wouldn't begin to minimize the friendships.

Marie from Visé, Belgium

Such a strong and pensive narration today, Jack. Why so? Thinking a bit too hard, me thinks. But all the better to get to know you. I think the blog has a way of creating relationships with strangers, than I didn't know I cared about until I'm doing it here with Aminus 3.

5 Sep 2010 10:31pm

@LauraS: I already was clear about the value of the relationships. What triggered the commentary was being especially aware of how much it means to me to be able to share my work. With Am3, I am able to share more with more people than any other way. I have lots of ways of seeing great photography, but I don't have alternative ways to share with so many people. (Still, my preference for both viewing and sharing remains the print. )

Good bye pretty girl! I like the blur of motion as she twirls away from us. And I know what you mean about AM3. The opportunity to "meet" other people who share my passion for photography and see the amazing diversity of work we all produce - from mediocre to extraordinary - is incredible.
