The images of mist and fog attract me much, they give the landscape of mystery and add sweetness to bring out the decorative elements. What a good choice for this photo, great shot, Jack.

¨‘°ºO Dutçh Oº°‘¨ from Neverwhere, United States

I'm glad you got to enjoy your walks together with Max. I miss my dogs. The fogs really draw me in, you have so many wonderfully foggy photos. I've not had too much chance to take those images yet and now with the snow I probably won't. If I am lucky though I might see another icebow this year. It was a full arch rainbow over the rising sun and .. like nothing I've ever seen before. Nicely taken here Jack!

14 Dec 2010 10:33pm

@¨‘°ºO Dutçh Oº°‘¨: Thanks. Beau when he was alive went with me everywhere. When I stopped to photograph, he just patiently sat there. Max being a 7.5 mo. old puppy is full of vim and vigor; however, he is a quick study and already after just a week with us likes to go.

Magda from Vancouver, Canada

very nice mood captured! nice choice of post processing

14 Dec 2010 10:42pm

Judy aka L@dybug from Brooksville, Florida, United States

This is a wonderful foggy shot!

14 Dec 2010 10:47pm

I love the fog and those round hay rolls (just like they make them in France).
This is a beauty...I'm glad Max is getting some good aesthetic outings.
He will grow up knowing beauty if he follows you around !! :-)

¨‘°ºO Dutçh Oº°‘¨ from Neverwhere, United States

As a teen I used to run with my family dog, a cocker, Apollo. Then when I got married I had Ranger, a silver and black german shepard and dusty, an akita something mutt. Dusty passed three years ago around the time of my mom, Ranger before her. They really are like family members. I hope Max fills the space though he can't replace Beau.. he will fill your heart with love though.

16 Dec 2010 8:04pm

@¨‘°ºO Dutçh Oº°‘¨: Thank you. Beau and I had a heart and soul connection. His death was the greatest loss that I have ever experienced in my 75 yrs. Max is wonderful. He is doing a great job of helping both Ellie and me heal.
