McDonald Forest in Early Winter #2

Posted by john4jack (Corvallis, Oregon, United States) on 18 December 2010 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

It was snowing like crazy when this shot was taken.

MAX was neutered on Wednesday. He hates the Elizabethan collar that he has to wear for 10 days (but he is doing better with it).

Nikon D700 1/125 second F/7.1 ISO 200 145 mm (35mm equiv.)

I couldn't get the lyrics to the Led Zepplin Immigrant Song out of my head when I saw this...
We come from the land of the ice and snow,
From the midnight sun where the hot springs blow.
Dunno if you've got any hot springs, but you've definately got the ice and snow!
