Max and I went out in mid-January in a steady rain to do some photographing.
Nikon D700 1/125 second F/8.0 ISO 800 44 mm (35mm equiv.)
I like the mist put down by the rain on the summit of the hill in contrast in the rest of the image very colored

Beautiful green. It is not bad to go for a walk in rainy morning.

I do not see any rain drops on your lens :) but I see the beautiful world - wonderful fresh and green!

Don't you just love that saturation after the rain. Very nice, Jack.

Moisture see in the picture. A great combination of wavy lines spread over the space of the landscape and the background fog. A picture perfect cold! A work of art more friend! Muchos besos y abrazos amigo Jack. Adela

Superb landscape shot, tranquil and well composed.

The landscape is beautiful and the road seems a high speed
ride down the hill, gorgeous fog looms beyond.

nice and green and ... wet! could easily be ireland, where this would be called "irish sunshine"!

A day for your waterproofs-and lovely saturated colours fading gently into the horizon

I can think of far worse places to get caught in rain . .

Hi Jack, this is such a marvelous rendering of the countryside. I love the rainy mood, especially the soft colors, the road leading into the distance, and the lowering clouds in the background.
30 Jan 2011 3:18pm
I like the low hanging clouds on in the distance and the damp look of the fields and road. Very good rainy day photograph.

@marc battault: merci
The morning rain do not stop the pilgrim .. bright image despite the rain on the horizon that weaves a gray veil. The double yellow line road serves as a guideline for the eyes ... beautiful picture Jack.

@Alivia: thank you. i wish that you would post more often
i love the mystery fog and the composition! great stuff :D

Beautiful, I like the contrast between foreground and horizon. It makes me wonder what is on the other side of the mist, and a road to carry me there. The colors are so vivid in this light.

This is a wonderful composition!

It is clear from this photograph why you moved to Oregon...there is something so ageless here.

I think I like this version between the two "straight" shots. The extra bales on the right seem to balance the road better. The "painterly" is okay but enough away from photography that I prefer the other two.
