Fiona walked in that enchanted forest in gray dawn today. He thought how nice it is too!. And when he looked up to observe the sky seen in the treetops something that aroused his curiosity ... birds' nests were what I was seeing? He thought back in spring to hear the chirping of birds in their nest. Beautiful and evocative image friend Jack! Thanks you very much! A hug Adela

The sepia adds its own flavor to this shot which was already excellent. It impresses me as a fine shot that would look good in color, B&W, sepia, or any other toning process.

This dark sepia works, but I don't think the fog is as evident, which was one of the charms of the color version.
8 Feb 2011 7:48pm
@harry: actually those back trees were totally lost in the fog. i agree that i brought them back a little too much for the computer. they look great when printed, much better than on the computer. i do everything for the print
I'm always amazed at how the mood of two images can change by just altering the tones. This is beautiful and I like the vintage feel it has.

Hard to decide which one I like better. Today's post has some nice textures with your sepia treatment, while yesterday's had nice contrasts.
