If I find driftwood like that on the beach, I try to take it back home for the garden but this one is a bit too big ;) Beautiful framing Jack and great colors surrounding that piece of wood.

I imagine this old driftwood to be all the remains of a quite venerable old tree. I wonder how old it is. Nice image in the way the soft light reveals its smooth texture.

Wow that piece looks like it might be from Dinosaur National Monument or Petrified Forest instead of the Pacific Northwest coastline. I love the details in the piece and the border is absolutely perfect! ;-)

Jack, this is utterly stunning. The detail, the light!, and the natural contrasts in texture. Stunning.

Really nice piece of driftwood. Unusual to see it against green and flowers, usually I see it on the sand.

I have always loved driftwood...it has been throughout so much..and textures and color they have..a fine shot you got here.
