Notice the left tree at the top of the trail.

MANY THANKS for all of your kind comments yesterday and Saturday. I was in Portland with the eldest of our sons. On Sunday, we photographed waterfalls in the Columbia Gorge.

Nice B&W work. The diagonal of the hillside conceals yet adds interest to the rocky water and cloudy sky.

Beautiful textures captured in this compo. I love the linear cloud that remains fairly level with the horizon. One surely wouldn't want to be blown down that trail!

Beautiful and dramatic seascape. I'm glad you pointed out the tree, as I did not at first notice it. Excellent perspective, and I like that the cliff and the trail posts give a sense of scale and steepness.
