Leaving town the next morning, I stopped for one last look. This photograph has a slight selenium tone applied.
Nikon D700 1/60 second F/2.8 ISO 800 70 mm (35mm equiv.)

A fine "last look" shot. Excellent composition. I especially like the selenium toning...one of my favorite toning effects.

Excellent work! Also 1/60 second exposure ensured the dramatic mood of whole picture and the stern image of clouds and sea waves.

Beautiful composition with eye-catching elements. I love the textures in the grass and boulders, the contrasts really allow the whitecaps stand out here, and great frame.

I remember when I was so young and doing a lot of photography and if I ever got anything
like this, I would have thought it was a real miracle. The trials and tribulations of producing
a workable image with all the highlights and the detail in the darkness would have been near
impossible without a lot of darkroom magic. Amazing what is possible now and you certainly
know how to work your camera for everything its worth. Totally amazing photograph.
