Check out the photographer seeking protection from the wind.

Nikon D700 1/500 second F/9.0 ISO 200 72 mm (35mm equiv.)

love the photographer! interesting contrasts in this shot - the flat ocean and the jagged rocks, the sense of calm and the rough seas - I really like it!

wow . . I had totally misjudged the scale here . . unless that photographer is only a foot high !

I love the little figure watching the sea with your machine ... completely wet and ice cream perhaps! I find very poetic image. The photographer confronted the forces of nature despite its small size ... A very powerful image! A hug y muchos besos amigo! Adela

Wonderful soft, misty shot. These rocks don't look that large until I compare them with the scale of this intrepid photographer crouched behind one for protection. Marvelous shot.

Now wait just a dog gone minute mister. I know that coast. You teaser you. All these peops fooled but not I. Humph.

I appreciate the moody colors. I like the beach at this time. Seems to pull thoughts into self and stimulate imagination. All those rocks look like critters, a conference of them. I love the sea, first and foremost. Here you see the elements in their most simple balanced forms and display: water, land, brisk air, and we know the sun is up there, fire, behind the clouds, supplying that quiet light. Thanks for the delicious sights, and your fine treatments, and...clever descriptions....

Wow Just a tad windy, eh! I may not have even noticed him had you not pointed it out! As Ronnie notes, the perspective is a wake up! This photag s probably trying to protect from the sand as much as anythinig else!. Truly the coastline between California line and Bandon is our favorite. And that is saying a lot because the entire Oregon Coast is a land of magical beauty and drama for sure...Just Wonderful, Jack!

The tiny looking photographer shows how much I needed a person in the shot so I could grasp the immense size of the rocks in this shot. I like the overall haze and misty quality out over the water.
