Group's Favorite

Posted by
john4jack (Corvallis, Oregon, United States) on 10 July 2011 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio.

At the Macro Botanical Workshop yesterday, we each selected 6 photographs to share. Then the group chose a favorite from each photographer. This was the group's favorite of mine.

The instructor was heavily into creating abstract image in-camera. The less you could identify it as a flower, the better for him.

Wow, an elegant shot. The twists and turns, especially those in the background, make this shot fascinating. Your color tones are excellent and unusual.
