Yellow Spiral

Posted by
john4jack (Corvallis, Oregon, United States) on 1 September 2011 in Abstract & Conceptual and Portfolio.

As you might surmise, this was a 10 shot in-camera multiple exposure twist and zoom photograph. What I learned from Tony was - set the camera at Aperture priority, small aperture opening, and this is what blew me away, an Exposure Compensation of -3 stops. With this Exposure Compensation, you need to turn off Auto Gain.

An impressive technique. I always wonder how these "pros" take the time to do such extensive experimentation to come up with these techniques.
