Well done, almost abstract.

8 Dec 2011 7:24am

DULCIE from Danville, CA, United States

These filters have a way of making us look again, or look newly at things.
(I'm dying to get a D700, but fear it is too heavy for my shaky hands and that I would always need a tripod. I suspect you use usually use your tripod, am I right?)

8 Dec 2011 7:38am

@DULCIE: When I take a workshop I use a tripod 90% of the time. I also use one for macro work, and much of the time when I am moving around by car. That being said, most of my shooting is done on walks and on walks, almost everything is taken handheld. I actually believe that using a tripod is the single most important thing that we could do to improve our photography, but I don't do it.

Pavan Kaul from Mumbai, India

While this may be "filter fun", this processing reminds me of the days when there would be that exact hue "in the air" that you have shown here when there was a tornado watch in effect. Great colors!
