Monet

As you know, I have been fascinated with texture blending these days. While not neglecting textures, I am now obsessed with "Impressionistic" photographs. Today I begin my "Monet" series. This particular photograph involved 7 exposures that were blended "in-camera". Not much was done in post-processing.

It was very interesting to me to see your preferences between the color and the b&w versions of the previous two photographs. Normally I prefer flowers in color. However, I have rarely had a flower that rendered so well in B&W. It was amazing to me how just a straight B&W conversion in Lightroom 4 pretty much did it all. There was no need to go to Silver Efex 2.
