PASSION - we are told to photograph what we feel passionate about. I believe this to be superb advice. Being a mystic, I see everything filled with energy. If we photograph what we feel passionate about, that passionate energy will permeate our photographs. We can learn technique; we can develop skill. Passion comes from within. Seeing photographs that are filled with the photographer's love and passion is a profound joy.

Are you going to give us a lesson about your skills - I would like to learn all those creative things.
I have Photoshop 9 but I haven`t had energy to study it - perhaps I will start it in some dark winter day :)
But now I enjoy your creativity !

I don't believe in faith, mystical occurances, religion, nu-age or whatever, but I do believe in passion. That's what makes the world go round(IMHO)

2 Oct 2012 4:09pm

@CElliottUK: Things like passion and imagination lie deep within us. They certainly transcend religion. What I mean when I call myself a mystic is that for the most important things, I operate at what I believe to be a deeper level than the dimensions of space and time. For me, photography is much more a matter of the heart than the mind; although the technical side of it draws heavily upon the mind. To take this one step further, I try to see with my heart and shoot from my heart.
