Smartphone Workshop #2

Recently I came across an essay that made a powerful impact on me. I commend it to you. http://fadedandblurred.com/spotlight/fred-herzog/

Do we have this kind of love for photography? Do we maintain our integrity when no one else seems to care? How much do we adjust our work to satisfy the viewer? I find Herzog to be a role model.

I read the blog you linked. It was timely for me. I recently went to a wedding, and though I am not usually a portrait photographer, I used it as an opportunity to practice. I am pretty happy with the results. I posted a few on FB, and got a few, but not many comments. I was ok with that, because, I enjoyed them. MAybe soon I will post a few of them here on AM3.
I like your kalaidascope image today.
